After celebrating the Eucharist for the 415th anniversary of the Holy Christ of La Grita, Bishop Lisandro Rivas of the Diocese of San Cristóbal emphasized that in Táchira there is a faithful people who carry God in their hearts.

"This is the first time I've celebrated this festival, and this event shows me that the people of Táchira are a people of faith who carry God in their hearts, who carry God in their veins, and who have demonstrated, at very specific moments, this commitment, which not only remains in the church, but is also visible in the different realities that each person must face," Bishop Rivas stated.

The pastor of the Táchira church encouraged us not to despair and to have complete trust in God. "Sometimes we are overwhelmed by our problems, our situations, our illnesses.
