BLOOMFIELD, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— A driver hit a construction vehicle earlier Sunday that was working on a closed section of U.S. 231.

According to a Facebook post from the Greene County Sheriff's Department, there was a motor vehicle accident where a driver struck an INDOT construction vehicle that was working on a closed section of U.S. 231. The post continues to say that the collision did cause injuries.

The sheriff's department would like to remind drivers that they should use alternate routes as U.S. 231 is closed from Bloomfield to Interstate 69 for an INDOT project.
