An Odessa man is facing two felony charges after his neighbor told police he poured gas over two vehicles and then threw a gas can into his yard with a lit rag.

According to an Odessa Police Department report, officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Snyder Street around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday about a man with a gun.

When officers arrived, a 45-year-old man told them Augustine Falana, 42, threw a one-gallon gas can with a lit paper towel in it into his yard and it landed three feet away from his home, the report stated. The man said he then discovered his Dodge Durango and Chevrolet Traverse had both been doused in gas.

The witness told police he threw the gas can back into Falana’s yard, causing Falana to throw a cigar into the same area where the gas can had been thrown. He also said F
