The Purdue Research Foundation cut the ribbon Wednesday on 3rd & West, a new student housing complex developed through a public-private partnership between the foundation and Texas-based American Campus Communities.

The five-story, 325,000-square-foot complex adds nearly 1,000 beds to Purdue’s student housing options. Details of the financial investment in the project were not immediately disclosed.
