CLOVIS, N.M. (KFDA) - Two teenagers were hospitalized early Wednesday morning after being shot while driving away from a house party in Clovis, New Mexico, according to the Clovis Police Department.

Around 5:30 a.m. on Aug. 6, officers received a 911 call from victims inside a moving vehicle. The driver continued toward Plains Regional Medical Center, where officers met them.

An 18-year-old woman and a 17-year-old juvenile told officers they had been at a home in the 900 block of Piersall Avenue when they were shot at.

Police initially received information that a suspect named “Alex” was involved.

Both victims suffered injuries to their heads and upper bodies.
