CHEYENNE — After listening to nearly four hours of heated public comment, Laramie County commissioners adopted a new set of land-use regulations Tuesday.
Hundreds of concerned community members gathered in the Historic Courthouse to share their opinions in the latest chapter of the long-running discussion of land-use regulations.
The courthouse was so packed that other county staff members had to split the group in two, leaving one group in the boardroom with the commissioners, and one downstairs to watch the meeting live on a television. Even still, the boardroom was full, with some people standing shoulder-to-shoulder.
Justin Arnold, Laramie County Planning Department head, began the discussion by debunking some misconceptions that had been spread across social media platforms, which,
