Flowers have been laid in memory of a much-loved Coventry dad who died on the M6 . Matthew Jones was found injured after an incident on the busy carriageway on Friday (August 1).
Police were called to the M6 at around 8.10pm that evening and found Mr Jones fatally injured. He has been remembered for being an 'amazing and devoted' dad, son, brother, partner, and friend.
Tributes have now been placed in memory of the Coventry City fan, who had reportedly been at the Real Betis game just days before he died. One tied to railings on Goodyers End Lane says: 'RIP Matty.'
Another heartwarming message written by Sparky says: 'RIP. You will be missed.' Coventry City flags have also been tied to railings near the M6 alongside messages saying: 'RIP Matt.'
