STORYTELLING: Braceville’s America 250 celebration will include a monthly storytelling speaker series at 2 p.m. Sunday at the township hall. The August event is Braceville Pioneer Family History, which will feature historians from the community sharing family history and memories. Each month will be a different topic and lead up to the big event in July 2026.

CAMPFIRE: The Moss Ancestral Home, 1499 Burnett St., Mineral Ridge, will have an Indian Campfire at 8 p.m. Saturday. Bill Moss will be Wowston as he uses Indian artifacts to entertain. Those attending can bring a lawn chair. The Moss Ancestral Home will be open for tours from 6 to 8 p.m. prior to the campfire.
