OAKLAND — In a move to protect vulnerable individuals and families from growing fraudulent practices in end-of-life care, California Attorney General Rob Bonta on Wednesday announced the launch of a new statewide initiative to combat hospice fraud. The initiative includes educational outreach, reporting resources, and support services designed to help Californians recognize and report deceptive practices that exploit patients during their most vulnerable moments.
