A major crackdown has been taking place to make sure food delivery riders are working above board in Greater Manchester.
Officers took to the streets of Tameside on Tuesday (August 5) to carry out a number of checks with workers and their vehicles.
Greater Manchester Police spoke to riders about the vehicles they were using - making sure any electric bikes met legal standards and that vehicles used had the correct insurance.
The force was joined by members of the Home Office's Immigration Compliance and Enforcement team, which spoke to delivery riders about their immigration status and right to work in the UK.
