The team at an award-winning brewery has hailed the “incredible support” from the local community after it was hit by fire.
Sulwath Brewers is unable to produce its popular ales after a tank was destroyed by a blaze at its premises in Castle Douglas.
An online fundraiser campaign was set-up to help the family-run business get through the difficult spell.
And within a week it has raised nearly £10,000.
In a statement, the team at Sulwath – which is celebrating its 30th anniversary year – said: "We’ve been blown away by the support so far – every donation, message, and share has genuinely helped lift our spirits and move us forward. Thank you all so much.
"Here’s a quick update on where we are and what’s next:
"Short-term fix – We’re currently exploring a temporary hire
