JONESBORO — Demolition of the former Citizens Bank building at the corner of Main Street and Washington Avenue cost the city more than $3.2 million, Mayor Harold Copenhaver told Jonesboro City Council members Tuesday.
Now, the mayor says he’s looking for ways to turn the now-vacant lot into an asset for the community. He said he had met earlier Tuesday with private interests regarding redevelopment. kAm%96 4:EJ 4@?56>?65 E96 D6G6?\DE@CJ DECF4EFC6 =2DE s646>36C[ 7@==@H:?8 D276EJ 4@?46C?D @G6C E96 56E6C:@C2E:?8 DECF4EFC6] xE 925 366?
