BRISTOL, Tenn. — Despite a record-setting crowd and a weather delay, city officials say public safety and traffic issues during the MLB Speedway Classic at Bristol Motor Speedway were minimal.

According to Jon Luttrell, director of community relations for the city of Bristol, Tennessee, police activity remained low throughout the weekend, with officers issuing just five traffic citations and 11 parking citations.

Four traffic accidents were reported, along with two arrests, one for public intoxication
