Kelly Clarkson has postponed her Las Vegas residency amid her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock 's illness.
"Unfortunately, I need to postpone the remainder of the August Studio Session dates in La Review Link s Vegas," Clarkson, 43, announced via Instagram on Wednesday, August 6. "While I normally keep my personal life private, this past year, my children's father has been ill and at this moment, I need to be fully present for them."
She continued, "I am sincerely sorry to everyone who bought tickets to the shows and I so appreciate your grace, kindness and understanding."
Last month, Clarkson launched her "Studio Sessions" shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. She recently brought daughter River Rose onstage to perform the singer's 2015 hit "Heartbeat Song."
