NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) – A 29-year-old woman was slashed on a No. 3 train by a man wearing a face mask, according to the NYPD.

The attack happened just after 11 p.m. Wednesday as a northbound train was pulling into Wall Street station, police said.

The woman was taken to an area hospital, and her attacker ran, police said. Her phone was also taken during the attack, police said.

This is the second subway attack in just two days. On Tuesday, a woman was stabbed at a Chelsea station. It happened at 23rd Street and Eighth Avenue around 6:30 p.m. Police say the victim was on the stairs when the man attacked her.
