MEMPHIS, Tenn. - A man was booked into jail Monday after he allegedly pointed a gun at his former corrections officer during an attack outside a Memphis restaurant, records show.
Court documents allege that Jeremiah Taylor, 27, of Memphis, was with a woman when he saw his former CO at Southern Hands restaurant on Kirby Parkway near Poplar Avenue on July 27.
He followed her to her car before pulling a gun on her, records show. She managed to drive off but returned to the restaurant to talk to investigators and found the woman Taylor had been with sitting in a car in the parking lot.
Taylor's former corrections officer later picked him out of a lineup, records show.
Records show that he was arrested Monday night and charged with aggravated assault.
