POUGHKEEPSIE – Members of the union representing school administrators have passed a vote of “no confidence” in the new Poughkeepsie City School District Superintendent Gregory Mott. The members of the Poughkeepsie Public School Administrators Association (PPSAA – pronounced PIPSA) held the vote in July and presented the results to Board of Education President Bob Creedon on July 15.

At Wednesday night’s BOE meeting, Dr. David Scott, principal of Clinton Elementary School, and a member of PPSAA, announced to the general public that the administrators in the district’s seven schools have no confidence in Mott, who was named the district superintendent effective July 1, 2025, following the departure of Dr. Eric Rosser.
