There is an increased police presence in a village following the arrests of two men. A 44-year-old and 49-year-old have been arrested in Dorrington, near , on suspicion of drug-related offences.

has warned that residents may see a continued police presence in the area over the next few days as a result of this. An update was shared by the force on Thursday, August 7.

It states: "A policing operation led to the arrests of two men in Dorrington and you may see a continued police presence in the area over the next few days in relation to this. A 44-year-old male has been arrested for being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and has been released on bail.
