IOWA CITY — Since transferring to Iowa football , the extent to which quarterback Mark Gronowski has been seen participating in football activities has been extremely limited, both to the media and the public.

The prized portal addition was seen tossing the football before the official start of the spring open practice. But Gronowski was not wearing pads or a helmet and did not participate in the day’s festivities because he was still working his way back from offseason surgery.

Other than that, insight into Gronowski’s on-field reps since joining the Hawkeyes has essentially just boiled down to clips on social media.

That should finally change on Saturday.
