STATESBORO, Ga. (WTOC) - Cocaine was discovered inside the Sallie Zetterower Elementary School on the first day of school, August 1, 2025, according to the Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office.
In a social media post , the BCSO says that School Resource Officer Jessica Kite was “notified by a school administrator that a member of the custodial team had discovered a small, clear bag containing a suspicious white substance on the floor of a commons area inside the school.”
The substance was transported to the Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office Crime Suppression Team for analysis, where it was confirmed to be cocaine.
