Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall and 49 state attorneys general have requested that the Department of Justice increase its enforcement against illegal offshore gambling sites.

Sites like Bovada, BetOnline and others aren’t based in the United States but are easily accessible to Americans regardless of state and federal gambling laws.

Marshall and the attorneys general said in a Tuesday letter to United States Attorney General Pam Bondi that enforcement against offshore gambling sites has been “extremely limited” since 2013.
