JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) - Police are investigating after someone fired shots into a South Jackson home.
The incident occurred on Crestleigh Manor around 10:00 p.m. on August 6. Jackson Police Chief Joseph Wade responded to the scene and said no one was injured.
"We have a criminal element that's afoot here in the City of Jackson. I will make sure that we root them out. Nobody was injured here, but there was a home that was shot into. One home, and I did speak to the homeowner. And we're going to be talking to other witnesses and occupants of the home to find out exactly why this home," he said.
