Another Tides game, another impressive showing from Samuel Basallo and Dylan Beavers. Basallo hit a three-run homer and walked. Beavers double, walked, and drove in a pair of runs. A rehabbing Ryan Mountcastle kept on crushing the opposition, going 2-for-3 with a walk, two runs scored, and two RBI. Carter Young added two singles, and Livan Soto reached based three times, including two walks.

The Norfolk pitching put forth a solid team effort. Kyle Brnovich tossed 4.2 innings, allowing two runs on six hits, a walk, and eight strikeouts. Houston Roth worked 1.1 perfect innings of relief, and then Ryan Long, José Espada, and Vinny Nittoli combined for three shutout innings to wrap up the win.
