LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - The Adrian Police Department is investigating the death of a 67-year-old man that happened in the 900 block of S Winter St Tuesday afternoon.

The incident happened around 2:40 p.m. Tuesday, August 5th and a preliminary investigation indicates the vehicle slipped from a jack that was being used to elevate the vehicle for service. The vehicle fell on top of the man, trapping him.

The Adrian Police Department and Fire Department responded to the scene but the victim had already died by the time they arrived.
