Police in a Chicago suburb warned of some "extremely dangerous" behaviors that resulted in multiple arrests after two incidents were reported in one week.

Naperville police wrote on Facebook Wednesday that they "encountered two separate incidents of alleged street racing" within the last week, each of which ended in an arrest.

The first incident happened around 9:30 p.m. Friday on Route 59 just north of McCoy Drive.

There, police said a Chevy Camaro and a Porsche Cayenne were stopped at a red light before an officer saw them "take off when the light turned green, squealing tires and accelerating rapidly."

The driver of the Camaro, a 24-year-old from California, was arrested and charged with street racing, police said.
