Meet the Mets

The Mets freefall continued with their latest indignity of almost getting no-hit by Guardians’ starter Gavin Williams. Continuing their offensive futility from the previous game, the Mets went thirteen straight innings without collecting a hit. Their only hit came off the bat of Juan Soto who hit a home run in the ninth inning. The team will now need to regroup before heading to Milwaukee to take on the first place Brewers.

This latest poor effort is inexcusable for a team with so many stars, and the season could be in trouble if they don’t turn it around quickly.
