Donald Trump's executive order announced a doubling of tariffs on India, adding 25 percent to the 25 percent he had previously announced which go into effect in the next 21 days. White House Trade Adviser Peter Navarro said that more tariffs are being added because of India continued purchasing of Russian oil.
