What is 812 Day?

812 is the area code for our region, so to celebrate all that our area has to offer, August 12th has been dubbed "812 Day!" On 812 Day, residents are encouraged to support local businesses and celebrate everything that makes our area a great place to live. The Vanderburgh Humane Society is hosting a really neat special for 812 Day, too!

$8.12 Cat Adoptions At the VHS

The Vanderburgh Humane Society currently has hundreds of animals in their care, including an overwhelming amount of cats. So to celebrate our area, and help get some of these sweet furry friends into their forever homes, the VHS is lowering cat and kitten adoption fees to just $8.12
