United Airlines flights were expected to be back on track Thursday morning after ground stops at major U.S. airports, but some Bay Area passengers still felt impacts.

The Federal Aviation Administration says United asked for the ground stops at SFO and multiple other large airports because of a glitch in the system that houses flight times, weights and other critical data.
