MANCHESTER, N.H. —

Manchester-Boston Regional Airport was temporarily locked down overnight because of a threat.

Around midnight on Thursday morning, Londonderry police received information from police in New Boston regarding a potential threat involving the airport.

According to the report, the threat indicated there could be an explosive device in a vehicle in the airport parking garage.

“So the initial report, as I understand it, was that there was a vehicle located within the parking garage that contained explosives. And, they were given a timeline of one that was going to detonate. That was the initial phone call,” Londonderry Police Lt. Garrett Malloy told WMUR.
