It was a rough day across the board for Gwinnett as the Stripers ultimately fell by a 6-0 final to Columbus.

Davis Daniel got the start in this one and while he managed to toss a pair of scoreless innings to begin his night, things quickly went south for the righty. Columbus tagged Daniel for one run in the third inning, four runs in the fourth and another run in the fifth to take a 6-0 lead. On the flip side, Davis did manage to notch eight strikeouts, so that could be a silver lining, if there were one.
