CAMINO, Calif. —
The winding down of summer marks the beginning of apple season, which draws about a million visitors annually to the foothills in Northern California.
Not just raw apples — apple pie, apple fritters, apple cider — just about anything is not only possible, but it's also available at Apple Hill in El Dorado County.
But being the largest producer of apples in California is a big operation, requiring a lot of work across the multiple farms and orchards. To prepare for that heavy workload, Apple Hill is posting a job fair that runs from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday .
