'Shame': Democrats criticize redistricting push

A different energy took hold once Democratic state lawmakers started taking the podium at the Statehouse to protest the prospect of redistricting.

The crowd had grown fuller, and their cheers and shouts of “We are the firewall” reverberated.

When State Sen. Shelli Yoder, D-Bloomington, characterized Trump’s redistricting push as a way of cheating to win, the crowd responded with “Shame!”
