MINNEAPOLIS — Massachusetts Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren will join Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan in Minneapolis later this month for a rally in support of Flanagan's campaign for U.S. Senate.

“I am so excited to have Elizabeth join me in Minnesota because there’s no place I love more,” said Flanagan in a statement Thursday.

“Elizabeth is a hero of mine, not just because of the fights that she has won but because no matter how bleak things have gotten in Washington, she’s never stopped believing that together we can improve folks’ lives. Hope is something I’ve got bucketloads of and I want to bring that to the Senate where I will continue to deliver for Minnesotans.”
