MOSS POINT, Miss. (WLOX) - Moss Point Police Chief Brandon Ashley is temporarily suspended.

The Moss Point Board of Aldermen voted on Tuesday, August 5, to suspend Police Chief Brandon Ashley for five days.

The city issued the following statement to WLOX News:

Ashley took over as the city’s police chief in 2018. WLOX could not reach Ashley for comment.

During the suspension, Sgt. Kim Snowden is running the Moss Point Police Department.
