Early Morning Vehicle Fire Extinguished in Starkville

Starkville firefighters responded to an early morning vehicle fire Tuesday near Blackjack Road and Buckner Lane.

According to the Starkville Fire Department, crews from Engine #4 arrived on the scene and quickly extinguished the blaze. No injuries were reported in the incident.

The Starkville Fire Department thanked the Starkville Police Department, Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Department, and Mississippi State University Police Department for assisting with traffic control during the response, ensuring the safety of both emergency personnel and the public.

The cause of the fire has not been released.
