WASHINGTON DC – Russia’s President Vladimir Putin has done it again: he has managed to ensnare Donald Trump in a fresh trap, at the very moment Trump was indicating that he was finally, genuinely, really committed to taking tough actions against the Kremlin leader and his trading partners.

Friday was supposed to be D-Day for Trump’s new, “this-time-it’s-for-real” policy on Russia. And all the early signs from the White House indicated that his patience with Putin had finally expired.
