NORTH TONAWANDA, N.Y. — St. Mary & St. Moses Coptic Orthodox Church hosted its 16th Annual Egyptian Festival in August at 350 Wheatfield Street.

The festival was held on Friday, Aug. 22 from 3 to 9 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 23 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday, Aug. 24 from 12 to 8 p.m.

Festival goers can expect homemade Egyptian food and desserts, guided tours of ancient Coptic relics and the historic church, hand-crafted art, jewelry, and unique souvenirs from Egypt. The event will also feature rare and historic books that explore Egypt’s culture, faith, and language.

Organizers say the event offers a chance to experience one of the world’s most ancient cultures right here in Western New York.
