GREENEVILLE, Tenn. — One person is dead after a motorcycle crash at the intersection of East Andrew Johnson Highway and Harlan Street in Greeneville, according to the Greeneville Police Department.

Police said the accident happened around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday. According to a GPD crash report, the motorcycle hit the side of an SUV.

The crash report also states that the driver of the SUV was taken to a nearby hospital with suspected minor injuries and the driver of the motorcycle, Kaitlyn Malone, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said they were the only two people involved in the crash. The crash is currently under investigation.
