Luke Keaschall was one promising week into his major league career when an errant pitch by Los Angeles Angels starter Kyle Hendricks hit him square in the forearm, fracturing it. It took more than three months. But on Tuesday in Detroit, Keaschall finally returned.

Keaschall is the Minnesota Twins’ No. 3 prospect, per MLB Pipeline, in a farm system that was recently revamped by the Twins’ wild trading spree last week. The Twins shipped off 11 players — 10 major leaguers — and got back 13 players in return.
