Outer Banks creators Jonas and Josh Pate tapped real-life musicians to form a teenage rock band that features in the official trailer for Prime Video ’s The Runarounds, which dropped on Thursday.

Rockers William Lipton, Axel Ellis, Jeremy Yun, Zendé Murdock and Jesse Golliher became the actors behind the teenage rock band The Runarounds at the center of the musical coming-of-age drama set to bow on Sept. 1 on the streaming platform worldwide.

Along with fellow cast members Lilah Pate, Maximo Salas, Kelley Pereira, Marley Aliah, Mark Wystrach, Brooklyn Decker, Hayes MacArthur and Shea Pritchard, the band members after high school graduation chase rock fame and success in Wilmington, North Carolina, while falling in love and partying as they pursue their dreams.
