Hearing that an Oasis fan died at Wembley sent a shiver down my spine. Lee Claydon was watching the Britpop band live on August 2 , when the tragedy occurred. The 45-year-old, from Bournemouth, passed away after reportedly falling from the upper tier of Wembley stadium.

While details are yet to be fully confirmed, his 75-year-old father Clive released a statement after the incident. He alleged: "People have said horrible things but it was just an accident. All I know is there was beer everywhere, it's slippery, he slipped apparently, we do not know the rest of it. There's questions about the barriers."

These slippery conditions were also seen in parts of Wembley when I watched Liam and Noel Gallagher perform in London a few days earlier, on Wednesday, July 30.
