LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — An investigation is underway after the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that a body was found floating in the water on the Arkansas River.

According to reports, at around 7:00 a.m. on August 7, officials were called to the area near the Main Street and Broadway bridge after a jogger spotted the body.

PCSO Water Patrol responded to the scene and recovered the body of a male subject.

Officials have now identified the victim as 42-year-old Joshua Phillips of Little Rock.
