ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KCTV) - One of Kansas City’s most prized offseason acquisitions on the defensive side of the ball is participating at training camp for the first time.

On Thursday, two days ahead of the Chiefs’ preseason opener against the Arizona Cardinals, cornerback Kristian Fulton participated in practice for the first time.

Fulton signed a two-year, $20 million deal this offseason after playing a season with the Los Angeles Chargers.

The 26-year-old from LSU started training camp on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list due to a knee injury.

Linebacker Drue Tranquill, who exited practice with a back injury earlier in training camp, returned to practice Thursday.

Wide receivers Rashee Rice (groin) and Hollywood Brown (ankle) were at practice but not participating.
