AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Amigos grocery stores in Amarillo and Hereford will host a health fair for guests this Saturday.

Event organizers say the stores will offer free screenings including glucose tests, blood pressure checks, and total cholesterol screenings.

Community partners will also attend to provide information about health services available to the community.

The health fair will take place from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Aug. 9.

Amarillo Sod Poodles mascot RUCKUS will make an appearance at the Amarillo Amigos location from noon until 1 p.m.

Amarillo’s Amigos location is at 3300 I-40 East.

Hereford’s Amigos location is at 520 N. 25 Mile Ave.
