DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Multiple staff members from Ruskin Elementary, the school 7-year-old Hershall Creachbaum Jr. attended before his death, contacted both law enforcement and CPS on multiple occasions on behalf of Creachbaum and his sibling.

The multiple staff members, one who wishes to remain anonymous, called the non-emergency line for law enforcement to do a wellness check on the kids on Thursday, April 3.

The staffers both said the boyfriend of the children’s mother arrived to pick them up from the school on Thursday, April 3. They alleged he appeared intoxicated, slurring his words and stumbling in and out of the road. The staffers allege he had dropped the kids off in the morning.
