Alexandria, VA – Maman Coffee Baking Kitchen has applied for a Special Use Permit from the City of Alexandria at 701 King Street, formerly Le Pain Quotidien and Foxtrot Cafe.

Named for the French word for “mother,” Maman currently has locations throughout the New York City metropolitan area, Washington DC, Florida, and Canada. Maman features cozy, rustic ambiance and French-themed menus in their cafes and dining rooms.

The eatery offers baked goods (the chocolate chip cookie is renowned), as well as breakfast and lunch fare including sandwiches, quiches and salads, and coffee, naturally.
