CARMEL – By a unanimous vote of those present, the Putnam Legislature has approved the hiring of a Pre-School Program Manager who will work at the county’s newly created Early Learning Center this fall.
Legislators Amy Sayegh, Nancy Montgomery, Paul Jonke, Dan Birmingham, Erin Crowley and William Gouldman all endorsed a request made by Putnam’s Health Director Rian Rodriguez to fund the position.
The manager who will receive a prorated salary this year of $37,586 plus $25,000 in fringe benefits, will support the development, adoption and management of specialized preschool programs by coordinating and implementing projects with respect to the needs of children receiving services.
