A child has been hit by a bus outside a hospital, sparking a huge emergency response.
Several police cars have been spotted in the car park of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother (QEQM) Hospital in Margate.
Officers were called just after 4pm, and Ramsgate Road outside the site remains closed in both directions.
An air ambulance was also seen landing nearby.
A witness said police were moving drivers away from the entrance of the hospital.
“It happened in front of the main entrance and involved a child,” they said.
“The approach road to the hospital is shut and it will remain so for a while.”
Drivers are being advised to find alternative routes.
