As fans prepare themselves for a playoff push and start buying up tickets for the final month of the Milwaukee Brewers regular season, they'll notice something unusual just ahead: An off day at home in the middle of a series.

The Philadelphia Phillies , one of the teams with which Milwaukee will be jockeying for playoff seeding, check into town for a battle on Labor Day (Monday, Sept. 1), with first pitch at 3:10 p.m. CT.

But then, on Tuesday, Sept. 2: An off day. Followed by the rest of the series with the Phillies, a 6:40 p.m. CT game on Wednesday, Sept. 3, and a 3:10 p.m. game Thursday, Sept. 4.
